front discs for track and road

Featured Replies

I've searched through plenty of threads on here but would like to know what discs people are running with lcr brembos. I've bought some ds2500 pads and ATE super blue but I'm stuck on discs. Do I just go for new plain pagid discs from ECP for around £150 the pair or is there anything better for around that price. Upgrading due to massive brake fade at combe on saturday. Many thanks.

I think Pagid or OEM are OK, the pads will be decider

I ran mtec discs and mintex pads at combe and they were spot on so can recommend the mtec discs and with the ds2500 pads should be [emoji108]

Will these do the job? As nice as the f2000's are Lloyd I've spent a fair bit on the car in the last few weeks. Obviously I'll be using ds2500's on the front.

Id go for plain

Opted for a combo of tarox g88 and ds2500s.

The system needs a bit of heat in order to bite but is very effective.

On track, I no longer fade, but the noise... like btcc I guess.... (squeal)

Would be interested to know what combo you have gone for

Still undecided mate to be honest. Plain pagid discs are £150 the pair, mintex and mtec are £200 for the full set (front and rear discs and pads).tempted to spend the extra £50 and do the lot(using my ds2500 on the front)

Pagid arent that dear from ECP, or do they do other variants?

Oh right. I'll look again but I'm sure the 323mm pagid discs were £76 per disc.

Ok, just phoned them and they sell them in pairs however the price on the web is per disc so £76.80 per disc but sold as a pair is £153.60!!!!! Mtec/mintex are looking favourable.
