considering buying a cat d vrs octavia tdi

Featured Replies

I been looking for a mk2 Octavia or a Passat estate and ideally wanted a vrs but realised they are way out my budget ive come across and 08 Octavia vrs with front end damage and was wondering is it possible to put all the facelift front end on there

Front end facelift is certainly possible, new lights, bumper, wings, bonnet and grill. Under the skin its all the same, so it should all be bolt on.

perfect news

the one im looking at requires all those parts just a matter of can I afford the car or not, and get it all done within budget

There may be wiring issues IIRC but I'm sure others on here have successfully made the change, so it can be done.

It is possible just done it myself. The only problem is the light wiring if you've got xenons. The Big headache is they are bending xenons in the fl and not in the pre. Bought modules, wiring and plugs, but no help or anyone with any sense in how to do it!!! In the end rewired the lights inside and coded them in and all works.
