I'm having problems linking the sat box to my laptop. Has anyone had problems doing the same. Everything appears to have installed correctly but it just comes up an error saying device not found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was going to be my next move. But seem as it was past there closing time I thought I'd give it a go on here to see if anyone else has had a problem.

I had a moment with VCDS where it could not see my car.

Sat worried for a bit then turned the ignition on and all was well!

Nope none what so ever. Didn't get chance to ring shark today either. It's sees the vehicle fine the map has already been copied from my car I just can't connect to my laptop to send it off to get changed. Was wondering if there's maybe a conflict with windows 7 or 8 not sure witch I'm running I do know is crap though. Bring back windows px lol.

I expect this'll be a simple driver issue, we can investigate and solve remotely if you get a spare 15 mins to call us.

Tried the install on a different computer last night and it worked no problem. So I'm guessing there was a software conflict somewhere. The email has been sent and I'm now awaiting my modified map
