Will be on the hunt for a FL Octy Vrs in a few weeks time, will have £10-10.5k to spend so looking for 10 plate or a low miles, looked after 59 for the right price. Do all facelifts have cruise as standard?

Can't decide between black or Candy white!

Looking for a diesel as I want to have it for 5 years and do a fair bit of Norwich to London drives. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Not sure about the cruise control... My vote is for Candy White!

Yes leaning that way, there's one in budget fairly local to me, hope it's still around in 3-4 weeks, doubt it though it looks too good!

If your going for it, look out for xenons! I've done basically same criteria on near enough same budget for similar money.... But held out for xenons.... Best decission ever, they are incredible!

I thought cruise was standard on the FL VRS?

I was in the same position as the OP several weeks ago and don't remember seeing one without cruise control fitted. I would highly recommend the CR VRS, it took me about 3 months to find mine as I was after a blue one with DSG which narrowed it down a lot and also wanted xenons and columbus sat nav.

My advice is to decide which colour and options you really want and be prepared to wait for the right car. I would go for xenons and maxidot as must haves. Columbus , bluetooth and parking sensors can all be added afterwards easily enough.

Another vote for "White" from me.......i had a black mk1 vrs & it looked great when clean but that lasted all of 5 mins. I like the vrs in white........nearly as smart as race blue.  :p

I know you've got a colour in mind - but take specification over colour each time

Decide which options you cannot live without and then worry about the colour. BTW, my pre-FL was black and trust me, they are hell to keep clean.

As said before I would like cruise, dual zone climate control, would like full leather but can live without it, anything else is a bonus to be honest

Cruise and Dual Zone climate control were standard on FL
