hi guys wondered if anyone could help changed over to the upgraded sytec fuel pump but have like a whining noise that wasnt there on the old pump but it is now it is all working fine but it is one of those niggly problems wondered if anyone had any experience with this or had a remedy as iam stumped all help is much appreciated

The uprated fuel pumps do whine

Mine doesn't sound any different to standard. I can't remember if the pump cradle can be fitted in slightly different orientations, as it is arrowed, but might it be vibrating on something and causing the whine?

Mine whines. Turning the stereo up helps.

All uprated fuel pumps whine. Walbro is worst. So don't worry dude. You can lay a thin foam mat over the pump housing under seat carpet which does help a little.
