I'm Martin from Liverpool...

Previous cars:

Corsa 07-plate 1.3CDTi Club

Corsa 59-plate 1.3CDTi SXi

Corsa 61-plate 1.7CDTi SE

(the 07-plate Corsa was a great car... but the build quality, technology & customer service has got progressively worse over the years!)

I'm taking delivery of my Octavia next week -- very excited!

Octavia Estate GreenLine III 1.6 TDI (colour: pacific blue // extras: cruise control, colour maxidot, light pack (light assist / rain sensor / chromatic rear view mirror), winter pack, clever pack (think this is just a plastic bin & phone holder?!)

By coincidence, I've ended up with an Octavia as a hire car for this week, so I've been able to get get used to the infotainment, controls, etc. [Long story about my old car being stuck in the garage!]

I hardly ever see any Octavia Estates around here... but visited Edinburgh a few weeks ago, and they're very popular there!

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music
