Problem with Peugeots are their values drop like a stone, or used to anyway. I came to Skoda after a few years with Pugs, was glad to get rid of my last 207 HDI.

The 208 is too fussy looking and the interior too quirky, the 308 is a much nicer car altogether, much more 'German'.

I'm going to wait until the Monte Carlo spec comes out next year and possibly get the estate with the 1.2 TSI lump, could do the with extra space for our bike stuff.

After 13 Skodas I'm back driving a Peugeot after 25 years away! My previous 2 pugs were 205 GTIs now driving a 208 GTI Prestige and loving it!!

Take it Peugeots have improved then; bought a new 306 TDI in the 90's and along side two used BMW's proved to be one of the most fault ridden cars I've owned.

Wellington's required inside the car if it rained (could actually watch the footwells fill with water), had to hope you were not in a rush to go somewhere if it was cold or damp, as more often than not it wouldn't start, two hands on occasion to change gear and you could see the undercoat through the top coat in places around the inner door frames :S

Car lasted less than six months before it was p/x.
