Newbie to Skoda

Hello,

Just thought i would say hello having just joined this forum,

I purchased my First Skoda in January 2014,

I purchased my 2008 Octavia VRS PD in a bit of a hurry to replace my broken down BMW 330cd. 

This was only supposed to be a temporary run around but having grown to love the VRS I shall defiantly be staying Skoda. I paid £4900 for it but at the time was concerned at how cheap this was.

Its a Ex hampshire Ambulance service Car so has a well documented service history. 79k on the clock at time of purchase and runs like a dream. Cambelt already done at 75K, and fortunately no sign of any holes in the dash or bumpers for lights ect....

Unfortunately lacking a few extra goodies but nothing i cant live without or upgrade overtime. 

With the exception of a faulty ABS control module which was a cheap fix at £370 after 3 months of ownership, it has been problem free over the last 9 months.

In February i managed to grab a eBay bargain Jumbo box with everything included to make the upgrade for £85 delivered. This included the ducting for the rear air vents and with the help of this forum fitting was a easy job. 

Next job will be a stereo upgrade from the Stream MP3 unit currently fitted.
