Hi I'm new to the forum, i have recently bought a fabia vrs, and i was wondering if i could swap the ecu from my old m4k bora tdi 6 speed for the one i currently have now in the fabia.

both engine codes are asz but the bora did not have the vaccum box.

only reason i want to swap is because i either have launch control or a pop corn limiter. I'm not to sure witch one i have but my rev limit is limited to 3k rpm in neutral 

the bora ecu has the immo deacataved and the egr off.


also another quick question, i have one of these intercoolers i removed of my bora. could this be fitted to the fabia as i have a big stupid fmic what look a mess and makes the bumper pop of over ever speed hump. thanks

After looking around on ebay the same ecu model came up for a vrs witch is ( 038 906 019 FG ) 

As for the intercooler i'm after ruling out why i have a constant loss of power and lots of black smoke, as the FMIC has many joints i just wanted to narrow the joints down and fit the SMIC to see if it solves my problem.
