When I put the keys in the ignition the temperature is always 22 degrees and 'AC' is on, which means I need to manually adjust every time before setting off. Is it possible to adjust so that it is set to your own personal preference on start up? I tried the manual and thought that after pressing 'AUTO' it would store your setting but I obviously misinterpreted this!

Personally i seldom use A/C and when i do & i do not have it at Auto, i Switch it on or off,  but if i did have it on 'auto', it shows 22*oC.

 

My car is usually set at Low or 18*oC,  & turned higher if somebody moans about being cold,

& Never on 'Auto',  or A/C.

I like to run with it on 'LO'. I've had the air con on quite a bit as it has been un-Scottishly warm for some months! I've also heard it's good for the air con to switch it on now and again (to prevent the seals drying up?) - some people have said once a week, others once a month.

I switch it on, on occasion to be sure the car is dry, or to get cooler air, and that can be every few days when using the car.

 

But i still like to have it at Low, and open windows.

Nearly always i have it set on Windscreen & Drivers face, and all vents open.
