Getting close to receiving a new red Octavia vRS estate and and have decided to have the full works on the exterior and interior protection.

Any suggestions of good products to go for, or if brave enough bad experiences?

Can have the car done in Bristol, Doncaster or Mansfield.

Start with good products, then where they are applied well.

I was going off the Doncaster location

I had Inspired Automotive in Wakefield apply a full compliment of G-Techniq products to my 3 day old Race Blue Combi.

I did research a number of products and call a fair few detailers. I think there are potentially equally as good products out there the key for me was having the confidence in the detailer to apply it correctly. I got that at Inspired.

The ceramic coating is awesome btw and the car is almost self cleaning.

Highly recommended.

Whatever you do don't allow the dealer to apply anything such as LifeShine. Get a good detailer to handle it!

A good detailer will also teach you how to lool after your car (if you don't know that is, I didn't) and clean it correctly avoiding the dreaded swirl!

Would have thought that a good detailer would prepare the surface before application, regardless what had been applied before, ie: the car dealer ?

Sorry, on a barge for the last couple of days, so just picked this up.

Wakefield is closer than Mirfield. It depends when it appears.

Due to my sister's in Adwick-le-Street weekend of 24th.

Which means we could pick the car up from Mansfield on the way up.

Ideally I would like the job done on it as soon as we pick it up, but not by the supplier.

I fancy a specialist job on this one!

What ceramic coating did you get? Awesome works for me.
