Fabia combi overheating

My 02 Skoda Fabia Combi is overheating is it a diy job to replace head gasket or is it a dealer fix  liam k

What engine does it have?

1.4 mpi

It could be many of things. Water pump could be one of them. How old is the car and what mileage?

In a nut shell it's a garage job. Expect around £300 - £400.

If your good with tools then you can do it yourself but iirc might have problems with the timing chain if you don't have the correct locking kit.

Taking the head off doesn't involve touching the timing chain on the MPI.
