Hi there - just joined up - hoping to get an Octavia Rs in the next week or so,

If i can't find one with Sunroof & cruise control, is it possible to have cruise control fitted as an after purchase option? - if so how much, and where would be a good place

Yep it can be retrofitted. We have a few cruise fitters on here.

I might be able to help you with the sunroof. Just got a handy black and decker electric saw. It can cut through just about anything. A sheet of perspex and a bit of silicone sealant would finish it off nicely.

Cruise is fairly easy to retrofit, plenty of help available on here.

Is a sunroof really that imporatant? It does have climate control after all...

I'd rather have the Jabba'd one myself...

Hmm funny half my last post seems to have gone walk about =)

No probs - i'll give it a couple more days (only got the car this afternoon) and post comparisons, already finding a few!

Has anyone fitted a front center arm rest ? - I see some other model Octy's have them but not the RS, i know it's a sporty model but i have to drive 200 mile trips twice a week and found it damm comfy with the Audi's
