vRS drivers seat.

Featured Replies

Anyone else find they 'sink' into the seat base? Its like the base isn't strong enough (I'm not overweight by the way)

Its actually making my lower back ache a bit and spoiling my enjoyment off the car. I find myself almost continually having to sit up in the seat, only to be jiggled back down again with the firm ride.

Wonder if there is a fault with it?

Mine seem just fine despite my fat **** :)

I haven't noticed anything wrong with mine sorry

mmm, maybe there is an issue. I've just been out and sat in the driver's seat, then the passenger seat, then back in the drivers seat again. It definitely feels softer on the driver's side, and I definitely feel like I'm sinking into the seat base.

I wonder if anyone with the same seats could do the same thing - sit in the driver's seat, then the passenger and see if there is a difference?

Thanks in advance

Every car I've ever had has had a firmer feeling passenger seat, because it doesn't get used as much.

Not after a few weeks though surely?

I agree, shouldn't matter after a few weeks.

Mine is fine, however it could be a simple fix by the dealer as the base foam might not be fitted correctly or just be faulty in the drivers seat, hence why you have the difference? I would get it booked in and checked as it sounds like it's something you can easily demonstrate to the dealer,...
