Basically I want either to change the panel filter or put a cone on but will either eat the magsensor ?? As it has on both my prev diesels ??

Just after better breathing for the engine

Myself would stick to the normal stock filter that's fine, cannot see any point in any other unless you want noise.

Have you been over-oiling the filter and is the reason behind your failed MAF sensors?

I would stick to an OEM filter.

Don't change the standard filter unless you want noise, in which case fit a Honda S2000 standard paper cone element, no filter mods will improve breathing since the turbo is boost limited and spool is ECU controlled via the N75 unit.

Oiled filters not only affect your MAF but they also allow larger grit particles through which can damage your delicate turbo impeller. Don't do it.

Would have thought you'd have learned by now that they make no performance difference on a diesel and negatively affect reliability.
