Nice!

Just had a read through the specs too. Some nice added extras in there over the previous model. Bluetooth as standard. The SEL gets keyless etc etc

Where is the Elegance spec?  This reads too much like a Polo spec sheet.

The SE L is the new Elegance spec.

The Elegance trim has also recently been dropped with the Rapid Spaceback and replaced with SE Sport, more expensive but with far more kit, although it is noticeable cheaper than the old SE trim spec'ed up to a similar level. The SE has also been renamed SE Tech and given more equipment but without a price rise.

Therefore I'm not surprised to see its absence from the new Fabia III line-up, although they could have come up with something better than SE L.

Believe its to do with attracting younger buyers to the brand, as words like Elegance are now sounding old fashioned; originally this term was brought in to show the brand had gone up market with the introduction of the Fabia I and Octy I FL, as the Favorit, Felicia and Octy I pre FL used similar letters, such as LX SLX, etc. so things are turning full circle, might get a replacement Rapid 136 yet :giggle:

TP

Is it just me, or is the Diesel getting pricer and pricer? At £2k difference between the 1.4 TDi SE and the 1.2 TSI 90 SE I will choose the petrol version everytime.

What will matter to many is how the Price is when Leasing , PCP etc, and the Deposits and Monthly Payments when the car

is handed back after 2 or 3 years.

Private Customers buying might well buy what they want, and they might be buying keepers, or cars for more than 3 years or owning,

where as Business Users & Fleet Buyers are after something rather different, & maybe ones that appear expensive but cost less

in their circumstances.

Euro 6 compliance presumably costs a big more for diesel than it does for petrol from what i have heard.

So when's the VAT free or 25% off offer starting?
