Multifunction steering wheel swap

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if I change multifunction steering wheel on Superb Year 2012 (2.0 TSI DSG), for new multifunction steering wheel with F1 shift paddels from Superb 2014, will I need to modify anything, add any modul or somthing (for paddels) or it would be straight plug and play swap?

Thanks :)

You should be OK for a straight swap as I did this move on my Yeti just over three years ago.

At that time I bought an Octavia VRS MFSW with paddles and had it fitted by my local Skoda dealer (to preserve OEM fitting for warranty and insurance).

I then visited Shark Performance who enabled the paddleshift using VCDS, which took about 10 minutes.

Hope this helps.
