Just installed Dension FM modulator in order to play my ipod tunes on Audience H/U. The music is playing but there is a faint hissing and some clipping sound - how can I get rid of that??

Also the connection from the Dension unit to H/u's antenna input seems to be unstabble. There is a iso antenna connector in the middle which if moved just a bit causes radio interference when listening to the regular radio stations. How can I stabilize this male-female iso antenna connection? Maybe taping it up ?

Recently changed the aerial antenna which i know is amplified. Would installing an extra inline amp for it improve radio reception??

As there is no switched live wire connecting to the H/U I just plugged Dension's switched wire together with +12v. Are there any readily available switched live wires somewhere in the dash to redo this connection??

Many thanks!!

I had one of these years ago, same issue, thought it was rubbish, so sent it back.

however this is much cheaper then buying a different H/U AND a Dension unit that connects through the changer in order to play iPod/iPhone/Anything....
