Correct front disks for 2002 4x4 Elegance?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Could anyone confirm that my 2002 1.8T 4x4 Elegance hatch uses standard Tavia 280mm diameter disks (22mm thick)?. Im looking at some Mintex disks (any good??) but the advert says 'exc. 4x4 model' but I dont think thats right?

Help. :P

Cheers guys,

Lee

Hmmmm, or (reading more on the subject) does it require the 288mm (25mm thick) discs from the 20vt 1.8T?!

Any help would be appreciated - Im seeing lots of suspension component confusion over what will work on my car and now the brakes have confused me too! (doesnt take much though!)

they'll be the 1.8T discs mate as that's what it is :)

its still and elegance 20v turbo just with 4x4

My 2002 4X4 has 288X25mm ventilated discs on the front and 239X9mm solid discs on the rear.

Keep the disc & fit DS2500 pads, The Std Discs are OK, If yours are shot PM me, I have a complete std 2002 Disc set up including Callipers gathering dust in the Garage, They covered about 8000 miles from new.

If you want a serious upgrade talk to Ian Godney at Godspeed, he will build whatever you want sbject to what your wheels will take, Hes built both my Octy & the Impreza Brakes & both were superb !!!!!!!!!!!!!
