Map sensor boost pipe / boss

Featured Replies

Welding up my boost pipes soon but need a place for my map sensor. Could make my own but if they don't cost much I'd just buy one to save the hastle.

So what have other people used?

When I've checked it has options on sizes etc so don't know what size the standard map sensor is.

I'm using 2" / 51mm boost pipes if it helps.

Thanks.

I've used one of those on my pipework, doesn't fit the full curvature of the 51mm piping but I ground it out with a die grinder on the back to suit the best I can and the weld has built up the rest to suit.

I used one of those on my 57mm pipework and it was a perfect fit. I can only assume the Darkside hard pipe kit is 57mm too.

That's what I'm after yeah, about £28 seems expensive to me!

What size is it I would need? 12mm or 18mm?

It is expensive but have you got another option?

Mine was 12mm :)

I suppose not, if that's what it costs!

I've seen forge sell a pipe on eBay with it already welded in which might be better.
