do you push your car everywhere? either that or someones ****ing with you like when you where a kid and your parents replaced the goldfish that lasted 13 years.

I got similar mileage on my vRS, although it was a standard PD170 vRS.

Almost 27,000 miles on the fronts and over 45,000 miles on the rears.

Nevermind does eddh push his car everywhere, my thoughts were does the OP drop the clutch at every junction :D

The rears were original 40000 miles, i only put the contis on in march, hope the goodyears are better, car feels much better already wet grip is good, it might be new front shocks, they were replaced at mot a couple of weeks back,

running shark stage 1, PS3 have done 27000 miles, they were rotated, front/back at 15000 miles, they are down to 3 mm front and 4 mm rear at the moment.

I had the blackline and managed to get 10,000 out of the fronts, also managed over 60 mpg on a couple of occasions .i didn't drive wild but think that's a lot of torque for a fwd on the contis, the wear was even so no tracking probs,I also managed over 15,000 on a wrx scooby but they were changed back to front after 7.000,so it might be worth changing around at 5.000, if some people get over 25,000 on the fronts they must be doing a lot of motorway miles or drive so carefully no point in having a VRS

Mines on 11k and I've got about 3-4mm left on the front & 5mm on the rear, so I'll probably swap the contis round and get a full set of goodyears next time as I recon the contis are quite soft and don't wear well at all, plus they're not the quietest tyre either. Now dobt someone will tell me they got 30k out of a set on their cr vRS.....

did the tread depth earlier pretty much 4mm all round but I do think there are getting nosier and at this time of year a bit slippy...... mostly motorway miles id say 80% off the time
