AWD: redir fail! Concern?

Featured Replies

Just ploughing through the scan from the Yeti I've agreed to buy and noticed that while all controllers show no fault codes, 22 AWD shows 'Labels: Redir Fail!'

Should I be concerned about this?

Also, where is the mileage (usually in KM) on the scan normally located? I'm looking, but I can't see it.

I've seen quite a few controllers lately that don't seem to have label files, which is what I think that means.

Thank you. It is where the label file usually is.

As there are no fault codes stored and it can obviously communicate with the AWD / Haldex controller, should I be worried?

No, fault codes will still show.

Thank you for the reassurance.

Thank you for the reassurance.

Try using the latest beta of VCDS rather than the normal version. According to Ross Tech the beta is fine for normal use.

When I get the Yeti, I'll give it a try.

Thanks.
