New Skoda owner

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Later this week I take delivery of a Platinum Grey MY13 Superb 118TSI DSG wagon - my first Skoda.  It's an ex-Volkswagen Australia vehicle with a little over 4,000km on the clock.  It's immaculate.

Mrs Syzygy and I weren't really planning to buy a new car right now, but after a test drive we (well maybe just me!) decided it was too good a car at too good a price.  We agonised for a day or so, then grabbed it.

I do hope it lives up to its name...

Will post pics in due course.  :)

Sorry that nobody responded sooner,

but in defence of Briskoda Members,

not all read this Section,  there is lots going on in the forum and sometimes members click on and reply or not.

Hi again. I thought I should post a quick update.

The Superb's now done nearly 8000 km and I'm delighted with it. It's a fine touring car - refined, comfortable and economical. It has plenty of room for passengers and luggage, and with the Thule roof bars I've just bought it'll be an excellent kayak-carrier!

In short, I'm very happy with the car so far. The only other improvement I'll be making is to get the windows tinted. (It's summer here, and tinting really makes a difference.)
