Replacement Stereo Wiring - aerial adaptor

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am replacing the stereo in my 2003 fabia with a philips CE153DR head unit.  I bought a fitting kit from ebay here:

The kit came with no instructions.  The aerial adaptor has a blue wire connected to it.  When do I connect this to?

Also, I read that some VW group cars need the permanent and ignition 12V wires swapping.  Will I need to do that?

Thanks

Ant

You only the blue wire if you have an electric aerial.

You probably don't need to swap the wires round since the kit looks like they've already done it for you.
