Refurbishing alloys same as body repair?

Featured Replies

So some guy decided to lift foot of clutch pedal without taking out of gear first :fail:

Paint has been cracked on my rear bumper but has not damaged it (which is good news).

Just wondering, whilst it is going in (to the guy who lives next door, he has a full professional spray booth in his garage and does work for ford as body repair/spraying), if it is worth asking him to maybe try tidying up my alloys and maybe give them a nice colour change...

Not a massive amount of damage to them, no chunks missing, just the usual carelessness, by the previous owner I will add, I am careful with my boots :)

Do you want them touched up?

Or do you want them to look brand new?

£75 a wheel and they will be better than brand new if you use 'The Wheel Specialists"

Look here

I think ChrisrS can give good advice as I believe he is on good terms with an alloy wheel repairer :)

I have used the wheel specialist in garforth and they are very very good very professional and provide a great service

Really want to get them nice an clean, was only asking as he might be able to do it at 'mates rate' for me as I helped him set up a website not too long ago.

Ok. Good call then

+1 for The Wheel Specialist.... consistently good results

When I had the Fabia Mk 1 vrs the wheels had bubbled near valve on all four from previous owner, it cost me £260 for all 4 wheels standard 16's in silver. When I went to pick up the car I was blown away on how good

they looked. Don't just take my word for it at the same time of picking the car up there was 3 professional footballers in picking up their supercars.
