Maxi-dot options

Featured Replies

Hi I have just bought a 2011 elegance 1.4Tsi and it has the maxidot but when I entere the menu there arn't many options.

How to I access the comfort options to adjust the door opening options etc and alarm tone for when I lock it?

Are you sure it's maxidot?

Does it show a picture of a car and which door is open?

If so then it should be under the "Setup" menu.

Phil

Maxidot was not standard on the MK2 Elegance.

It is a maxi-dot, I have oil temp and the picture of which door is open. I can adjust the PDC and winter tyres but no Convenience option or lights and vision.

Any ideas?

For lights and vision / convenience the BCM needs to be coded

Sounds like the car has had a different BCM or the maxidot has been retrofitted

Thanks, is this a simple job and would it need to be a dealer? It's only 3years old and no record of it being changed at skoda.

Strange because I have comfort indicators enabled, blip sound when locking and only drivers door opening on one press.

Who is likely to have this and more importantly know how to use it? I can imagine a dealer messing something up

look in the vcds section there is a map with who is near you

Thanks, is it a straight forward job?

Yup. Just a matter of putting a tick in a box and clicking save!

Hi

Do you know which box it is? or under what headings. My local independant specialist can do it but was upfront they don't do this type of thing regularly so if I had the code would make it easier

Seen your PM, replying now, it has been about a year since I last coded a MkII!
