Anyone know what this RECALL relates too

Featured Replies

Please excuse the fact that this refers to my GTI but I have always found that the level of technical expertise and response on Briskoda is much better than on the GTI sites

I have just got my GTI performance back from its first service and it has had a recall applied, does not say why but the details are:

Carried out workshop action
45D4 2014-04-02 S-Golf service measure 03
V000 010 006           C03C1A Sticker
V04L 130 235 G        C03K3A Pipe

I know any sticker fitted by a master tech must be worth 10bhp but does anyone know what Pipe was changed and why - the garage is not too forthcoming.

Any pointers much appreciated

If it is a diesel mine had a recall to replace a pipe between fuel filter and fuel rail.

The GTi is petrol, GTd is the diesel  Golf

surely a mk7 forum would be a better place to ask

That part number relates to fuel return line from the injectors on a diesel. I checked the part number on ETKA where I work.

My Mum's Mk4 150 PD was a Gti. Maybe the mk7 is the same?

No, the mk7 is only available with a petrol engine, if you want diesel there's the GTD.

The sticker is used to record the recall number and is placed in the boot next to the spare wheel well.

All clear now - Service manager said SW update fpr Parking Brake, ECu and Diff Lock and Pipe replacement as mandated for my chassis number by VW, so pipe number is now also fitted to petrol engines as well as diesel
