Is it necessary to carry out a fuel system/fuel filter flush due to the number of miles clocked on the car?

I have a 2011 Octavia and the dealer has sent a request to me to have this done due to the miles I have done.

There is only 50,000 so far.

It sounds like another way of making money, garage style.

Has anyone come across this before?

 

Never heard of this.  Is this from a Skoda dealer?  Is it something to do with the current bio-fuels problem?

Sounds like a chance to sell you a £5 bottle of stuff for £50.
