More interested in the ex-tax € price, I know some places like Denmark and Netherlands used to have a large amount of 'luxury tax' I presume this still applies?

VRS TSI combi, manual, corrida red with sunroof, canton and a few small extra's: 24k euro without taxes, 29k with taxes. And 0% financing over 3 years. The latter is no longer available now.

Total price was 46k+ in Euros.

I see you can get a basic 1.4 for 404,900Kc (see attached pdf) Does that include VAT?

It is 21% VAT in CZ. 404,900 does inc VAT. On a business sale, (assume that's why your after ex VAT) you could secure up to 13% discount on sticker price too. And yes, the women are indeed gorgeous.

So the export price could be as low as 291,000Kc???? That's circa £8500 (I'm double checking my calculator isn't broken)

For a private sale, its 9%, so its more like 8,800 GBP, but this is still exceptional value compared to the UK.

Look at the Skoda CZ website in Google Chrome browser. Right click, it will allow you to translate to English. Be aware of spec changes between countries, I'd imagine "base spec" is more basic in CZ. 

 

I have a VRS on order. I was initially quoted a wait of 5.5 months. I was recently contacted and told this would drop to 12 weeks ish, although this could change still.

Ordered an RS TDI with every option available in Belgium (except rear camera and winter tyres) for € 42k incl tax (21% vat). I did get an 18% discount so am in reality paying only about € 35k incl VAT.

Great deal if you ask me, can't wait!

How much discount is this off the list price?

2014 UK spec VRS TDI DSG with lots of extras.  UK price minus VAT and about £1000 discount on top of that. All in about £23k OTR

 

Sort of Europe / sort of UK, but not actually either.
