European owners please post your new prices

not yet an owner but I ordered a TDI VRS, manual estate (Bolero with colour maxidot, Canton sound system, intelligent light assist, ACC with Front assist, parking assistant, panoramic sunroof, auxiliary heating, sunset /privacy glass, black pack, performance mode selection, gemini 18" anthracite, tow bar, spacesaver wheel, chassis protection 4 yr warranty and some other little bits.) The following are standard in Luxembourg on the VRS so not really an extra: folding mirrors,front/Rear parking sensors, front heated seats, heated washer nozzles, variable boot floor, simply clever things. Skoda Luxembourg gave the Crystal alloys and winter tires for free :-)

List price w/o VAT is about 29grand (€), add to that

about 5 grand for VAT at 15% (will move to 17% at the beginning of next year),

270€ for registration,

so a total (without the discount) of 34500€

and a whooping yearly tax of 86€.... I think my country is paradise for sporty cars, and if you want to push them just go on the German Autobahn. :-D

hello.

I did play with several countries Skoda sites, used configurators and catalogs to try comparing the price for the same vehicle.
I chose the Octavia 1.4 TSI DSG7 Estate, as it is available in all selected countries.
This is not perfect, and there may be mistakes.
Also, available information was not always very clear on the feature availability as standard, option or not at all.
Some information may have also been lost in google translating.
So feel free to bring corrections, whenever relevant.

As a principle, as soon as a feature is standard in one of the selected countries, it is included as part of the option list for the others.
Regarding the price, the total price including taxes should be OK, as this is generally what is retrieved from the catalogs/configurators.
For the taxes ratio, this is based on some research on the web and might have to be taken with care, especially for Danmark and the Netherlands.

So, with all due precautions, this gives an overview of the differences between countries, what is standard here and option there:
