Hi all! New member here.

 

Currently I have a Candy White Octavia vRS TDI Estate on order, with the following options: Black design pack, 19" Xtreme wheels, sunset glass, Canton sound system, Amundsen sat nav, Colour Maxi-dot, park distance control and a couple of other bits and pieces. Provisionally assigned BW48, so hoping to have the car before Christmas!

 

At the moment, I am driving/borrowing/loving my old man's post-facelift MkII Octavia vRS hatch with a Revo Stage 2 remap whilst he recovers from knee surgery. Already traded in my old Fiat Grande Punto 1.9 Mjet Sporting (with a 173 bhp and 340 Nm remap) which I enjoyed, but was (predictably for a Fix It Again Tomorrow) rather troublesome to say the least (EGR valve replaced twice, collapsed coil spring, both front strut top bearings replaced, binding rear brake calliper, broken indicator/light stalk and several other hassles in just over 3 years and 80k miles) and becoming economically unsound with imminent gearbox issues (Google "M32 gearbox" for a taste of my woes!).

 

I'm based in Bristol, so I guess that makes me a Bristolian Briskodian...?

 

I've already had a look around the forums and found a wealth of useful information. Here's hoping to many years of happy Skoda ownership and helpful and enjoyable forum-ing!
