Is there a Skoda audio unit that has DAB or do you have to fit an after-market unit??

 

Looking at a Elegance Estate tomorrow ... hope its ok!!

The new version of the Columbus has DAB, my MY2015 Superb has DAB as standard.

Do you think it would fit an 11 plate model that has columbus fitted??

 

Guess its going to be pricey if you can even buy them??

Not sure what would be needed, the main unit is different, same unit to look at just with/without DAB, there would then be the aerial...

I was disappointed that my 2014 se didn't have a dab radio

My July 2013 Elegance has DAB.

Radio 5 wouldn't be the same unless there is a lot of interference and flicking between 693 and 909.

How do you spot DAB on a Columbus ?

 

What shouts DAB at you ?

I think you can only tell when you press the "band" button, mine states "FM", "AM" and "DAB" 

If you can scan it with VCDS the part number will end in 686 as opposed to 680.

Mind you living in wales, anywhere West of swansea or north of cardiff has virtually no dab coverage anyway
