The lid won't stay shut ,the lid and tray are geared together but I can't see anything broken any help will be appreciated.

same on minev , yhimk its all down to broken spring , mine has been like it a few years now i just leave it open for loose change , not worth the cost of fixing now

Try looking on forum plenty breaking not that expensive to do just fiddly.

The lug on the tray arm wears, remove the tray, separate the two parts to get to the bit with the worn lug.

 

Drill out the lug with a 2 mm drill. and bond in the pointed end of a nail cut down to fit. once set reassemble, refit and save £166 and feel good about yourself.

I did the same as above, apart from I used a small pop rivet.
