10/60 Castrol full synthetic

Featured Replies

Track goers, I have a large amount of Castrol Full Synthetic 10/60 and 15/50 oil, approx 60 litres of each, I will be selling this at a reasonable price, I am guessing at £20 for 5 litres.

If you are interested please let me know.

Whats the spec of the castrol 10/60 ?

Is it for M engines ?

All I know at this stage is it is fully synthetic and the same spec as required by Porsche, I will have more details soon.

It will be going in the golf I am sure for that money, can't be bad.

I have one 60 litre drum and two 20 litre drums, yours for £5 per litre delivered to Oulton Park.

:( I only wanted 6 litres, 12 at a push, don't do enough miles to warrant having that much oil kicking about (still got 8 litres to use from the last time I bought some due to Euro sending me extras :D)

I could go halves with you, do you think 10/60 would be ok in my Golf? Only used on track, not sure myself, what do you think?

I think it would be too thick tbh.

I have 10/40 in it now, that quantum stuff everybody raves about, not sure what is special about it tbh.

OK, it is clear the cheap 10/60 is staying where it is as it has no place in my engine and you nearly have more of it then I do.    :D

Yeh, it's cheap but only if you really need it :D
