Skoda Octavia 1.6tdi 2010

Featured Replies

I have recently had an EGR, Lambda sensor replaced and had my particle filter cleaned. But car will still not come out of limp mode. I went to a none Skoda dealer but car has been back a number of times but car will not reset. The particle warning light comes on every time I start the car up. I have driven the car down the motorway for 50 miles as Skoda has suggested and again will not reset computer. What do I do now?

The car has done 37,000 miles surly this should not be a problem for this car now.

A good garage should be able to do a forced regen on the dpf, 99% this will sort your issue out given the mileage.

Do you do lots of short journeys?

I do yes, I've now brought myself a bike for the short journeys. But the machine won't regen.
