Spare tyre

Featured Replies

I'm a tightwad, always looking to save a few quid.    So when I noticed that the tyre on my spare wheel had never seen the road and was in perfect condition, I came up with a cunning plan. :smirk:

If I could find another new Sunew YS112 205/45ZR16, I'd put a part worn tyre (Currently Bridgestones all round) on the spare and save about £70.

Unfortunately, I can't find one anywhere. It even looks as though they're not made anymore. :wall:  Suggestions welcomed. :wonder:

Only suggestion from me is try to find another owner with the same spare and come to a mutual arrangement.

Reading the pretty shocking reviews of Sunew tyres, I wouldn't even use them as a spare.

I haven't seen any reviews so fair comment.
