Bolero network not responding error

Featured Replies

Hi.

I'm having some jip with my bolero Bluetooth. My phone has been paired and working since I had the car but recently I've been getting failures in making and receiving calls. So the phone rings and I answer it and then just after you have had time to say hello it cuts the call with a "dial-up failed. Network not responding" message. Same happens when I make a call.

I've deleted & re paired the phone, I've reset my phone and I've reset the bolero by holding the power button in. It's not a signal issue as I can make calls on the handset no problem while the bolero is failing. Sometimes the call stays connected on the phone but bolero thinks it's cut off.

So I guess I'll call the dealer as its a warranty issue. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem. Phone is an iPhone BTW and it's fully up to date.

And that is probably where your problem lies... there are serious Bluetooth issues with iOS 8 at the moment.  iOS 8.1 is due to be released tomorrow and, according to developers who have played with pre-release builds, it fixes these issues.  So update to 8.1, reset your network settings, re-pair the phone with your car and see if you're still having issues.

Hmm that would make sense. The problems probably do coincide with an iOS update. I was wondering if the Bluetooth in my Tom tom was to blame but the problem persists when that's turned off
