VRs centre arm rest cover.

Featured Replies

I've just noticed that the leather cover on my front seat centre arm rest is damaged.

There is a small scuff/scratch on the driver's side of the leather cover. This has happened before and I've already replaced the lid section once before.

My coat doesn't catch it, I don't wear jeans with metal studs/rivets in them, my belt doesn't catch it either. All I can think it maybe is my watch catching it, when I put my seatbelt on.

There is no padding on the side of the cover, it's straight onto the hard plastic underneath, which I don't think helps.

At approx £70 for a new one, I'm not going to be replacing it again straight away.

I've never had this problem before, and I've had 3 other VRs cars and the same watch.

Has anyone else had any similar problems with this?

Cuff links?

Or handcuffs when dogging in the park

Nope, don't wear either, all I can think it possibly is is the strap on my watch.

I'm just annoyed it's happened on two covers, in the same place. I don't think it helps matters that there's no padding underneath the side sections, it's just straight onto hard plastic.

Seems strange if it's only happening to me though!

I seem to remember superskoda selling an armrest cover for octavia 3? Might work and possibly cheaper?
