Tyre Pressure Monitor

Featured Replies

We've had our citigo just over a week and really like the car apart from one day after collecting the TPM starting going off. Took it into the garage Saturday and was told there have been a few reports of citigo's having a problem. We have been told of a fix we can try and will be trying it but just wondered if any members have had this problem and if and how they cured it?

What is the fix the suggested?

Take the car for a run and do 30 for a minute then 40 then 50 and finally 60 then switch car off and restart that should clear it. We shall see.

Not a practical 'fix' for everyone.

Isn't it a tad dangerous switching the car off at 60mph :peek:

I know but that's what's on the sheet we were given by the garage. If it doesn't fix the problem we will need to contact them again.

Why not just make sure the pressures are correct then reset the system....

The pressures are all correct and the system reset. This problem began less than 24 hrs after taking delivery.
