Well bought this couple months ago with full service history upto 115k miles and its only on 118k now, was bought for sensible & reliable daily but it didn't work out, i bought a load of bits then left them sitting in a box for a couple of weeks. Now i decided to make a start fitting them and some have been a right pain in the arse.

When i first bought it i was getting a knocking and there was an advisory on mot for play in both steering arms, replaced steering arms, t.rod ends and drop links and it went fine

Anyway first i done was when the bottom intercooler pipe decided to pop off at 70mph and leave me with no power but loads of reek coming out he back i couldn't see out the back window. So priced up and was going to be over 100 quid for this pipe so i went round to my mates and we made a silicone one fit over the intercooler and over the metal turbo pipe

Then i fitted EGR delete and another silicone hose instead of cutting original...no pics as of yet

Started sat afternoon and the cars still in the air as waiting to find sealer plates as theh broke when pulled the cv joints out.

Second thing i done was polybush the lower engine mount

Its only 4 16mm bolts holding this on for people that want to do this their self

You can see why it was making a noise when pulling away from junctions and when turning it off and starting it

Just pulled out with screw driver and i didnt have a vice at hand so i just fitted the polybush without one but it wasnt to bad actually went in alright.

Then went on to fit the cupra bushes to front wishbone rear bush. Long story short it was easier to remove the subframe and fit them!

Got the coilovers fitted to rear then cracked on with front and fitted adjustable droplinks was a long sunday, just need to get new abs rings/sealer plates then adjust coilovers to right height.
