Monte Carlo Sideskirts on VRS

Featured Replies

Ok, i've looked on here but search did not bring up any bits, but i'm thinking of getting the monte carlo sills arches and bumper spats and fitting them to my VRS, but doing them Candy white to give a subtle look.

Now i can see the sills fit and the arches but the bumpers are a little different, so my question its, has anybody managed to do it on here and was it much work????

any help would b appreciated or if i have missed a previous topic.

This does sound like a good little mod. :-)

Following this with interest!

I've not seen anything like this be done before, in theory it should just take a little tweaking to fit.

Think someone tried it but the trim parts wouldnt mount properly.... think it was the arches that were the problem. Thats the only reason ive not already done it! Definitely keeping my eye on this.

When or if i get a Mk2 vRS estate of my own,

i already have the Fabia MK2 Scout Plastics & badges to fit to it.

So i am intending having a sleeper vRS Estate sometime in the future.

Seems only right,

If others can take heavy oil burner Estates & make them Look-alike vRS.

Take a non oil burning petrol that has some go and make it look slow.

Got to change the bumper as well, the main item that makes the difference between the vRS and others.

Good luck I would like to see how it turns out.

Hi Ant,

I asked this very same question Dec last year and didn't get much response - did a bit of research and found the parts quite pricy.

Be good to see how you get on as i still fancy doing this to mine.

seeing my mate later in the week, i've found some rear spats on ebay the guy is struggling to sell so may put a bid in so can research them cheaply.  i cannot see any reason why the arches and sills will not fit as they are same body sills and the same wings on all models

I think is more aesthetics as where they meet the bumper they will be a big gap as it wouldn't continue down the bumper like in the monte bumper.

thats why we'll smooth it in, so the line fades away

I like this idea.

Catch people even more off guard than i imagine a fabia vrs already does.

I like a sleeper!
