Engine Oil For Citigo Black Edition

Featured Replies

I'm currently packing for my holiday and am running short of time. I picked up my brand new Citigo Black Edition yesterday so would assume all checks were done with regards to tyre pressures, engine oil topped up etc. I've had a look through my manual twice now... and can't find anything on what oil the car uses.

Just in case...

Has anyone any idea?

Cheers, buddy. I think my manual must be different. Page 147 is the index. Found it though... VW 502 00

Go on the Castrol website and put your registration number in and it will tell you exactly which grade to use.

Widely available too. Make sure the car is level and stood for a while. I dipped mine and level needed top up. Put half litre in to top up. Next time I checked the level was too high. That is all in 5400 miles.

Don't they give you a complimentary 1 litre bottle of Castrol oil in a pouch anymore? Check the boot.

Don't assume everything is right check it yourself and regularly

I bought a Mini Cooper s a couple of years ago purposely choosing 16" wheels and non run flats for better comfort.

1st few days and it seemed rock hard considering the comfort option whelels.

I checked the pressure and dealer had put over 60psi in each tyre when they should have been mid 30s

I asked when we picked ours up last Saturday:

"Skoda don't do that anymore"

Cheapskates :D

These don't burn oil so I wouldn't worry too much. I've 16K and haven't needed to top up yet [emoji106][emoji16]
