Drove an R32 today....

And I can't say I was that impressed....

It didn't feel fast even though it probably was, maybe I'm too used to the "all at once" power of turbo'd cars now. The handling was a bit disappointing, there was no roll at all but it was very prone to understeer.

It did feel very well put together though, the seats were solid and fantastic at holding you in. That steering wheel must have the fattest rim known to man too, it was sooo chunky. The exhaust sounded awesome too, it would pop and burble, wouldn't think it was a standard system

I still liked it despite all this, but I'm a long way off from affording one!

Oh, and we averaged 11mpg and managed to use

done better than that mate, i used 1/4 tank (about 16 litres) in 16 minutes :D

147gta is a much nicer car granted doesnt handle toooo well but the noise and the looks

and that supposedly will do 7mpg when having fun on the roads

Try a HGP twin Turbo'd one :) Then you know what quick is!!!!!!

HPA Twin Turbo

EIP Single Turbo

IIRC :)

Been in quite a few of them obviously as they were the next big thing at AmD after the TT and S3 had started to die off. We were doing three or four remaps and exhausts a day at one time. So many we had at least three mini meets going on a week. Lovely cars to drive I think, seemed to bounce a bit on the springs like there was a slight mismatch with the dampers (Bilstein springs btw).

Single box exhaust, sports cat, cams and remap sees around 310 bhp which was quite handy. Im sure things have progressed since I left a year ago however.
