DSG oil & filter change Question...

Featured Replies

Just a quick question..... Is the DSG oil & filter change 40,000 miles and/or a time limit or just at 40,000?

My car is coming up to it's 4 year service but has only done 32,000 miles so was thinking of splitting the major service and DSG service up slightly, (Thinking of having the DSG done in the new year), to spread the cost if DSG service is just mileage related rather than mileage or time limit etc...

It's 40,000 miles with no time limit.

Just done my car's first one a couple of weeks ago.

Is there no indication in your manual?

If No then send an e-mail to Skoda UK tech dept. www.skoda.co.uk   contact section, or just speak to the master tech at your dealer.

Cheers Phil.... I'd use your response as the "best answer" but the facility doesn't seem to be working for me at present.....

Yeah there's some weird stuff going on at the moment.

Buttons keep disappearing and reappearng I'm sure!

Oh and in terms of the price you should be paying. It should be about £170. Any more than that and they're ripping you off.

That's why I did it myself... paid £70 for parts and took about 2 hours.

£100 saved!

DSG service middle of next year (£149)

Cambelt and minor service end of next year (£395)
