Power socket

Featured Replies

Needing help to locate the fuse for my cig lighter power sockets? No power...

as in where is the fusebox or which one is the fuse?

the fuse box is behind the panel on the right hand side of the car looking towards the front. when you open the door, you can see a blanking panel at the end of the dashboard.

that pries off, and the fusebox is located there. there is a handy reference thingy in there as well to locate the individual fuse.

also check out the owners manual at http://www.skoda.ie/owners/ownersmanuals/superb

I have the same problem with the front and rear passenger power socket, in the manual it quotes the left hand side of the car which has nothing behind it, the one on the drivers side has an airbag logo on it, is this the correct one.

Thanks jason

The manual is written for the European market so is for left hand drive cars. The fuse box is located behind the end panel of the dash at the drivers side..... So on the right hand end on UK cars.

Checked the manual but it only says power socket in the boot fuse No 16 I believe - rated 25A, It doesnt mention anything about the ones in the passenger compartment, Can somone tell me which fuse number I should check?

Try fuse 35: front and rear cigar sockets. 25A rated.

Yes. It will have a little rectangular cut out. If you don't gave any trim removal tools you can stick your car key in there and lever the bottom of the fuse cover so that it pops out. Then work your way around the side to the top, prising the cover out with your fingers.

There isn't an airbag in the fuse box.
