Does someone know if the brake winding tool is needed to do front discs and pads or just the rears?

Planning on changing the front discs and pads tonight if the weather stays dry!

Didn't you use the tool when you borrowed it off me?

Used only fo rthe rears as it winds the piston back in but, it can also be used to push the piston back in on the front.

nope, as the discs passed the MOT there was no rush to use the tool and so they never got done .
