I noticed the other day something about editing the ecu file to disable the egr.

I've just fitted my egr and not ready for a remap just yet so was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers on editing the map to disable the egr and map out the eml. Thanks

it has to be mapped out i believe m8 when mapped

i had seen a topic the other day and someone had done the mapping therselves to flatten the egr map.

I have a galletto 1260 lead to read and flash the ecu.

You can reduce the flow of the egr valve which might stop the eml light coming on for abit but doesn't remove it completely... If that's what your referring to.

it tells you how to reduce the flow in that guidebook that was put on for vcds coding
