I know this is a Skoda forum, but I feel this is acceptable as we replaced it with a new Citigo! For sale is our family owned 2003 Nissan Almera 1.8 SE. It has been registered to 3 people; ourselves, my mother, and the original garage as a demonstrator where we bought it at 10 miles!

As with all our cars it has been serviced regularly as per manufacturers guidance, with no expense spared. The car has been predominantly used for mid-distance commuting, not just running around town, and usually with just a driver so the passenger seats remain in very good condition.

The car drives well and continues to deliver ~40mpg if driven carefully. We are selling as we have recently downsized to the smaller and a bit more economical Citigo as our mileage has decreased.

The negatives:

• Previous MOT advisories:
• Some underbody corrosion
• Exhaust deteriorating (now welded, see above)

• The engine management light still comes on intermittently
  • It also turns itself off automatically
  • The drive and fuel efficiency are in no way
  • We have had it checked extensively (see above) and they have advised the next step is likely the Mass Air Flow Sensor that needs replacing
  • It will not fail its MOT with the light on, so we have been driving it as normal and opted to not have the sensor replaced
• Some dents/scuffs from normal use
• 3 of the hubcaps are missing the Nissan logo
• Usual rattles of an 11 year old car

Simply this has been sitting about a bit too long! We took her out for a run at the weekend as she hadn't been used, but had a flat battery. A good charge later and now running a'ok and has done about 30 miles since to keep her juices flowing.
