Felicia '97 - No cabin lights, clock or lighter

Featured Replies

Hello,

After searching some other threads, I see I may have shorted fuse number 15. However, even after replacing this (and a few other random fuses) the clock and cabin light etc still do not work?

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the issue?

Thanks in advance,

David.

1) you may have a short in that circuit and fuse 15 is burnt as soon is replaced

2) you have an electrical improvisation to feed an auxiliary equipment (radio, alarm, etc)

as the majority of other members asking for help, you don't mention how the problem started.

was it out of the blue?

was it during other repairs?

was it after an accident?

was it after a heavy rain? (leaks in relay box)

any hint will get you useful answers quicker instead letting us guess.

Hi,

It started after I tried to use a charger in the lighter. There was a spark.

Yes there is also a bunch of extra cables, presumably for the radio as they are labelled as such. But they don't seem to be official Skoda as they aren't tidy or tucked away nicely.

Do you think the fuses could be different now that extra cables are used to the radio?
