Hey up folks.

 

Bought a £150 octavia SDI with a knackered clutch 8 months ago. Removed the gearbox to sort the clutch only to find it was the cam under the cover on the outside of the box and I could have sorted it in 10 minutes from outside!

It's dog rough, but it's faster than my van, comfy and does 55 to the gallon. Not a single panel is undented or scratched. Mismatched boot. Stereo doesn't work. Other than that it's spot on really!

 

Missus just passed car test after 5 years on bikes, got her an 03 fabia sdi. Was cheap, just done the clutch and timing belt on it. Still to do, back brakes and sorting an immobiliser fault.
